We have all been called to be creative over the last few months in fostering our connections with ourselves and others. We have found new ways of fostering our personal practice and sharing practice time with others by learning and embracing new technologies. We may even have allowed ourselves permission to rest more & brought our practice to a more quiet introspective place. This is all important as we grow more resilient. All limbs of yoga will foster this growth in strength with flexibility to enhance our ability to deal with challenging circumstances. This article on Kripula's website resonated these feelings for me and explained the science of by enhancing the Vagus nerve function with yoga we can foster our connections. https://kripalu.org/resources/why-yoga-increases-feelings-connection
For me personally the last few weeks have allowed time for family connections which has been so nourishing. I have enjoyed leading and participating in yoga practices outdoors in nature while connecting with others who share my values. I continue to be blessed with the ability to connect via Zoom and FaceBook to share yoga with friends all over the globe!
I have resumed in person offerings with precautions and adjusted my class schedule to promote opportunities for self care and connections for clients and myself. Please visit my website to explore added offerings and a revised class schedule.
